Workshop Leaders

Anna

AnnaI trained at Birmingham School of Acting, graduating in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Acting. Since, I have worked both in theatre (as an Actress, Director, Producer) and as a Workshop Leader, devising and delivering inspirational creative learning projects for 100’s of children and young adults since 2005.

My own desire to explore, discover and learn was encouraged through my creative education and career, now I strive to ensure the next generation are well rounded, happy, confident individuals that love learning. So I’m here to support and inspire these creative, freethinkers helping them succeed in their chosen career paths (whatever they may be) whilst having lots of fun along the way!

Hi, I’m Amie and I love to Dance!

AmieI grew up in Derby and I have danced since the age of 3, before moving to London to study at the London Studio Centre where I graduated with a BA Hons Degree in Theatre Dance. I was then lucky enough to dance in TV, Film and Theatre before having my daughter 3 years ago. Now, I am the co-founder of Dance ARC, a company based in Watford offering high quality dance education within schools (as part of curriculum and as after school clubs) and dance classes for children.

I am an AIDTA qualified dance teacher, Zumba Instructor, Level 2 Exercise to music instructor, Cheerleading coach and Melody Movement (pre-school) teacher.

Shannen

ShannenI graduated from Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts in 2016 with a 1st class degree in Community Drama. Over the past few years I have been working freelance with various organisations such as Amnesty International, The British Red Cross and BBC radio - using the arts as a platform of self-expression. Alongside this work I have also enjoyed acting and assistant directing on various films.

I am passionate about empowerment and the importance of the arts and its role in society having worked with a variety of vulnerable communities such as prisons in Los Angeles and a rural village in Ghana.
